It is so exciting to get ready to welcome a new baby into your life.
You start to research for the best pediatrician, best and most comfortable clothes for your baby, safest car seats. It is also the time to find the best photographer who is specializing in newborn photography. There are a lot of photographers out there who say they are newborn photographers but you have to make sure they are trained in safe posing and handling your baby.
Now that i have that covered I would like to talk about when to schedule your baby's session.
For best curly poses i recommend scheduling the session when the baby is between 5-14 days. At that age babies are usually sleepiest and are easy to pose.
Newborn sessions last 2-4 hours with the time for feeding and changing.
I travel to clients homes but also offer sessions from my home studio. I want to make it as convenient for you as possible.
Newborn
This package is for BABY only. No family or sibling poses. Baby will be wrapped for every pose (your choice of 2 different wraps, 2 props).

I can travel to your home if you are located no further than 15 miles away from 07850.
No travel fee! Just make sure you have a close parking spot near your front door and no stairs. If there are stairs I will need someone to help me bring all my props in and out of the house.
If you live further than 15 miles (15-20 miles) from 07850 travel fee of $50 will be applied
I do not travel more than 1 hour from my studio.

You are pregnant! Congratulations ! For some women first trimester is not a very pleasant one.. I remember mine and i honestly did not think i would survive! I definitely did not think of pictures .
Then second trimester comes and you are all glowing and your belly gets bigger and cuter! You want to capture those moments. It is time to find a photographer that you love.
I would be happy to capture this very important time in your life.
I provide a few dresses (my maternity closet is still growing).

I love family sessions!
They are usually done before sunset for gorgeous soft light in the photos.
I have a couple beautiful locations that I can offer to you.
I also help my clients to coordinate their clothes. The most important thing that can make or break your photoshoot is clothing! Sometimes clothes we like to wear doesn't photograph well. So it is important to listen to a professional opinion.
I have a list of outfits that I can send you for inspiration.
Loose fitting, long, flowing dresses are best. When it's colder i like to add a knitted loose cardigan. I also love bright colors like red, blue, sage, burnt orange etc.
For boys I like linen and cotton shirts, khaki pants, loafers, cardigans.
Family session
Black and white

This package includes 20 digital black and white photos. Black and white photo session is done in a big beautiful studio in Flanders,NJ. This type of session is relaxed and fun. No posing but don't worry i will be giving you tips :) We'll play games, listen to some music and you will have lots of cuddles with your kiddos. It is perfect for winter months because you don't have to go outside and freeze while getting your pictures taken.
Photos are edited with some grain because it gives them retro style feel and it's one of my favorite styles!
