Hi! I am Sasha and I am a family photographer from New Jersey.

One of many questions that my clients have “Why do you schedule outdoor sessions before sunset?”.

Let me explain it.

When I first started photographing people outside I didn’t understand why my pictures are so contrasty and have so many shadows and why there are weird spots on my clients faces.

After experimenting with different times of the day, I realized that those weird spots and shadows are caused by the sun! Quickly I changed all the bookings to a later time and bam! my pictures came out so much better! Picking the right time for your photos is so important.

You want that warm soft light around you, running through your hair, hugging you, making the whole picture look magical.

I put a lot of work into planning your session. From thinking about colors for your wardrobe to a location to other small details so your session is as easy for you as it can get. Weather matters too of course. If it is rainy we reschedule. If it is cloudy we schedule it for earlier time that day so if you schedule your session for let say 7 pm in summer you have to have the whole day free otherwise we would have to pick another day.

While summer is hot and you worry about sweating and being hot, summer sunsets are so worth it! That is another reason I schedule your session right before sunset. It gets cooler!

Just look at these sweet faces.

I hope I explained why I pick time right before sunset. You can also go to the ‘Family gallery’ https://sashaweberphotography.com/galleryfamily-2 to see more of my work.

Let’s connect and talk about that perfect session you wanted to book forever!

I love being a traveling New Jersey newborn photographer. While I do have a home studio I do travel because of a number of reasons.

First of all a lot of women have a c-section while delivering their baby and it is very hard and painful to move around the house after that, not to even mention to get out of the house, walk up and down the steps, etc. That is why I come to your house to photograph your precious new baby.

Reason number two, you have other children and sometimes it is very hard to get everyone out of the door. Kids do not want to get dressed, can’t find a shoe, somebody is sleepy, tired etc. Parents usually get frustrated and stressed out. I do not want that for my clients. I do not want you to get stressed out before your session. The key to a successful newborn session is to stay calm and relaxed. In this case again I come to your house so you could focus on your comfort and take time getting ready for your family photos.

Reason number three is, yes, you guessed, Covid-19. Some parents are extra cautious about taking their new baby to new places. And while I do keep my studio very clean and disinfect everything before my clients come for their newborn photo session, I can totally understand when parents would rather stay home and have a photographer come to their place.

Yes! I bring my whole studio to your house and set it all up in your living room. Please, do not worry about your messy house. I do not care how your house looks. I have children too and my house looks like a mess almost all the time. All I need is some space for all my equipment and we are good to go!

You can relax, do your own thing and even take a nap! while I take care of your baby. As a traveling New Jersey newborn photographer my goal is to make your session as most comfortable as possible.

If you have any questions about booking your newborn session with me, please, do not hesitate to send me a message!

Hi! I am a New Jersey newborn photographer, located in Morris county.

As we all know, this year brought us a lot of chaos to our lives. It was not the easiest year for us.

It is impossible not to think or hear about corona virus every 15 minutes.

I decided to temporary close my home studio for newborns. I come to your house instead (cake smashes are still happening here, in my home studio).

The reason I made this decision is I know how hard it is for new moms to get out of the house with a newborn. And during these times, with corona virus going on, I am sure a lot of you are worried about getting sick or getting your baby sick.

This will give you not only assurance that you are not exposing your baby to a virus but also you will be comfortable in your home.

Let me tell you about precautions I take. This is my goal to keep you and your baby safe during your newborn session.

Every morning before a session I take my temperature .

The night before a session I wash all the props (hats, blankets, clothes, wraps etc.) in hot water and throw everything in a dryer.

I wash and sanitize all the buckets, beds, bowls and other props that I will use at your session.

I wear a mask while in your home and use sanitizer often. Also, before I pick your baby up, I wash my hands.

When I arrive at your home, please, wear a mask. If you are not feeling well, have fever, cough and other symptoms ,please, let me know even if it is an hour before your session. I want to make sure I do not get sick either.

If you have any questions, please, do not hesitate to email me https://sashaweberphotography.com/contact

Corona virus and keeping your baby safe.

I saw a mommy looking for a newborn photographer on Facebook for her baby. I gave her a link to my website.

She emailed me right away and said she loved my work. She wanted me to take pictures of her little boy.

We decided we were going to do a session the very next day. I had to come up with set ups very quick. I love this part as much as i love photographing my little clients.

Since it was winter in New Jersey the mom wanted me to come to their house. I brought all my props to the session.

Baby Jack was already 1 month old and at this age it gets hard taking pictures of babies. They start moving a lot, they sleep less and they are not so flexible for some of the newborn poses.

Jack was awake pretty much for the whole session but I did manage to rock him to sleep and take those precious newborn photos.

The mom was very happy with my skills of handling and photographing her baby boy.

If you are looking to hire a newborn photographer, please, do not wait till your baby is born and schedule a session earlier.

Newborn photographer in Morris County,NJ

Last year we could have not even imagined what 2020 would bring us. This year is not the best. But what matters is we stay together and support each other. I hope everyone is safe and healthy.

During these times we realize how important is to make memories with your loved ones. There is nothing better than to sit down with your children on a rainy or a snowy day and show them an album with photos. How little they were and how you went for a walk together on one foggy morning or how you baked cookies together.

Those memories bring smiles and warm feelings inside you.

Memories can stay in your head forever but sometimes we forget something. That is why we have photographs that remind us what great times we had in the past. They are kind of like a timeline of our life.

My favorite season is Fall. Thats when my great grandmother’s birthday is; that is when my beautiful Ukrainian town becomes a magic land, and that is when i met my husband.

I love Fall in New Jersey. Leaves change colors, you see foggy mornings, and feel crunchy leaves under your feet.

This year I am doing something new. There will be no back to back sessions. I will take only one family a day so I could give you more attention and listen to your better.

Fall mini sessions will be held in Morris County, New Jersey. I will email the location and other details after you book your spot.

I want you to have the best experience. Need assistance with the wardrobe? Ask me! I am here for you to help. Worried about children not cooperating? I got it. There will be no posed photography (unless asked) so all my sessions are fun and relaxed. I capture natural interaction between you and your children.

I can not wait to hear from you and photograph you and your family!
